Ingeborg Drews, born in Cologne in 1938 and died in 2019 in the same city, was a notable German artist. She cultivated a diverse artistic oeuvre throughout her life, encompassing satire, poetry, and photography. Drews received recognition for her satirical works, notably earning the 'Prix Special' in 2015 at the Salon d’Humour in St. Just-le-Martel near Limoges, where she participated for over two decades. Her poetic writings, initially published in the early 1960s under her maiden name Weiser and later under her married name Drews, earned accolades such as the Dormagen Feather Quill Literature Prize in 1989. Her literary and photographic works are archived in the Historical Archive of the City of Cologne, reflecting her lasting contribution to German art and culture.
