At this point in the letter, Paul begins to counteract some criticism levelled at him and his message. It’s evident the church feels the weight of hostility against them and this pressure doesn’t seem to be easing up. Paul knows that in a pressurised place it’s easy to lose sight of God’s grace, but he also knows just what to say. He re- tells them the story of God’s grace to them, in them, and from them. Let’s jump into this next part of the letter and explore Paul’s comforting words of reassurance.
