How many times have you had an idea but not gone through with it because you worried about what other people would think?I sat down with Dr Yewande Oduwole to share personal experiences of the fear of judgement and how to stop it from holding you back.Yewande got a lot of experience with this when she started her Youtube and Instagram sharing her experience as a dental student and teaching others how to get into dental school. Despite the naysayers she grew her following and now only 2 years after qualifying has become well-known for her passion for dental education.She’s won a number of awards including  FGDP Dental Student of the Year in 2020 and shared during our talk that she had just been listed in the top 50 most influential people in dentistry - being the second black female to make it. But none of this would have happened if she had given in to what other people thought.
