Listen "EP15 - A unique approach to podcasting PT.1 - w/ James Bishop"
Episode Synopsis
This is part 1 of 2 from a chat I had with James Bishop from One Fine Play in the UK.
Typically, you’re gonna find the same bits of info about podcasting across the internet. I know I’ve seen the same kinds of blog posts/articles and videos that go through the same tips and tricks. But I’m also the first to admit spitting out the same kinda information you’d probably find anywhere. However, using the quote “when 1 teaches, 2 learn” by Robert Heinlein, day by day I’m sharing what I learn when it comes to the world of podcast.
Now, this same sameness is also typically because of the old guard of podcasting royalty and that the perception of podcasting hasn’t shifted all that much in the last 15 years since it came about. However I saw a post on LinkedIn from my guest of this episode and it changed my perception of what podcasting should or at least how it can be treated.
James by his own admission is quite forthright in his delivery of what he believes is a new way of producing podcasts. Which I tend to agree with after our conversation after completely schooling me and you’ll get where I’m coming from once you listen to this episode and the subsequent Part 2 of our conversation in EP16.
