Listen ""Identity That Unifies Us" // Jn. 17, Phil. 3, Eph. 2,4 (Sunday 11/3/24)"
Episode Synopsis
This All Saints Sunday, we reflect on those "saints" in our lives, imperfect people who left us a legacy and inspired us in our faith. Those who went before us and lived lives of grace remind us of who WE really are: “You are a chosen people. You are royal priests (saints!), a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)
And this identity, who we really are, is more important than any other identities we might hold to. It's the one true identity that enables us to be united in a community of diversity. This Sunday, we kick off a new series called "UNITED" as we approach the contentious election season with love, faith, humility, and grace for one another. Our love for each other is what Jesus said would prove He was sent (John 17:20-23). Let's get ready for what He wants to show the world through us!
