This morning we will finish our Sermon from last week, "Love Never Fails but will We Fail to Love?" The truth that love never fails is an awesome truth but in order for love to fulfill it's God designed purpose, Christians my embrace the truth that love is a verb, it is an action, it is based on a willful and intentional decision to sacrifice oneself for the blessing and benefit of others. Christ's love never fails so we must learn to love as Christ loved and continues to love us. It seems evident that tough times are ahead therefore we are to persevere in our love for Christ and our love for others. For the Christian this means we need to learn to love like Christ now when it is easy to love for the time is coming when the love of many will grow cold as it did in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. when the Romans destroyed the city and all those within its city walls. Let us learn and be resolved to love Christ, His church, and those who are not yet His until He returns to take us home.
