Six Celtics players on the injury report tonight (5 from covid protocols) and then Romeo got hurt early so the Celtics played this one with a very limited roster. With that being said, the Celtics started this game very ugly. The Warriors were getting every offensive rebound early in this one and the Celtics found themselves down by as many as 20 in the second quarter. The Celtics did battle back in the third quarter starting with a 17-5 run with all 17 points coming from Tatum and Brown as well as several excellent defensive plays from Smart. We actually took a lead in the fourth after a continued great run but missed free throws, offensive rebounds and turnovers really killed any momentum we had. This is a tough loss but one that was kind of expected given the circumstances unfortunately.
