Svein had an incredible windsurfing career becoming Mistral World Champion in 1983 and he competed at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles where he placed 11th. He began Starboard in 1993 with the goal of getting as many people into windsurfing as possible by creating boards that were more appealing to the general public. We also chat about sustainability, Svein's childhood, why he loves the ocean and how he still feels like a little kid when he see's new products.
