In this episode, Katie and Makenna discuss their recent reads, specifically Makenna's scholastic reads. One being Dante's Inferno- this brings up some memories of being raised as evangelical kids and the indoctrination of hell, and the fear tactics that went into the idea of hell to sway children to follow an ideology that they did (and do not) understand. They also discuss the joys of being open-minded about ideas as adults, and the freedoms they can now exercise. They also discuss in brief, The Song of Achilles and their September hopefuls.
