Roland has played a key role in characterising bone signalling pathways that govern bone formation and contributed to developing new treatments that increase cell signalling to improve bone mass.Roland is a co-founder and chair of the International Federation of Musculoskeletal Research Societies supporting our community and helping young scientists from the entire world to develop and support people living with osteoporosis.
