After failing to be a blockchain home for dapps in 2017 because of just 1 single Dapp called crypto kitties, ethereum community started attempting to make Etheruem maintain its first-mover advantage and position as a top Dapp blockchain platform. The expected roll out of the Ethereum 2.0 has been postponed to January, 2021.
