Episode Synopsis
The Pwnie Awards ceremony will return to the Black Hat reception with an all new roster of "winners." The awards exist to celebrate/humiliate the creators of the most infamous pwnage events of the previous 12 months. Categories have included Best Server-side Bug, Mass 0wnage, Lamest Vendor Response and Most Overhyped Bug. The awards are independent of Black Hat, but we're pleased to provide a venue for them where so much of the security community is gathered. Last year's inaugural event was a lot of fun, and we hope it will grow in 2008. We hope to see you thereat what Linux.com is already calling "Black Hat's Oscars."
