Representing District 22 in Portland, Oregon, Senator Lew Frederick discusses two bills he has recently introduced, SB 618 and SB 619, which propose a redress of one of histories most gruesome grievances: Slavery. "(Senate Bill) 618 really says there is a case to be made for reparations -- that's what 618 does," he said. "(Senate Bill) 619 says if there is a case to make, how that will be done."
