Lindsay Hoopes of Hoopes Vineyard joins the show to chat about the the winery and making Brandy with Marianne Eaves due to the California wildfires
The Birdies & Bourbon team had a blast chatting with Lindsay Hoopes of Hoopes Vineyard in Napa, California. Lindsay has been working with friend of the show Marianne Eaves on making Brandy out of the smoke tainted grapes from 2017 and 2020 due to the California wildfires. This is truly a fascinating story of how Lindsay and Marianne came up with a solution to pivot to Brandy due to the horrible wildfires that have hit California over the past couple of years. Cal and Dan are inspired by the Hoopes Vineyard origin story and family legacy. We can't wait to have Lindsay on the show again to chat more about their winery, vineyard and of course wine, brandy and vermouth. Cheers.
