Professor Longo joins us this week to talk about the incomparable Giordano Bruno, quite possibly the world’s first Rosicrucian. Burning the witch leaves a ton of smoke for us current researchers to ponder upon. What’s fun is that many of the Christians from the Eastern Roman Empire were the progenitors of real science, which in their day was called alchemy. These Renaissance Men were the catalysts that pulled western Europe out of the doldrums. I own Longo’s “Monad,” and have to say it’s one of the best-made books I have come across this last decade. This is definitely a notebook-worthy discussion.
