Episode Synopsis

Tessa Carroll is a Melbourne-based fashion designer who studied at the Whitehouse Institute of Design. She is the founder and designer behind two ethical and sustainable brands: fashion basics line The Common Good Company, and A_C Official, the first vegan accessories brand in Australia to use Desserto cactus leather.
Her intense passion for the sustainable future of the Australian fashion industry is evident in her quest for the best plant-based textiles, having trialled leather made from pineapple leaves, washable paper and mushrooms, before landing on cactus leather.
In this episode, Tess and I cover studying Fashion Design, sustainability and aligning with our values.
