Simon started his career in banking because he wanted to learn about general finance and how to get ahead in life out of school. He worked his way through three of NZ’s traditional banking institutions along with spending time at the Bank of Leumi, where he ended his road in the SME space. He realised the roadblocks he and his clients were meeting through a non-personalised process and wanted to make a difference. This started his Non-bank journey into the Merchant Banking Group where scenarios are looked at holistically.
