This week at Compass Worship we continued our series on generosity called Everything & More. We are focused on 2 Corinthians 8 & 9 and looking at how we build our faith by understanding and practicing generosity in our lives. This week we look specifically at the call to "excel in the ministry of giving." Paul encouraged the church in Corinth to close the gap between intentions and actions and to finish their commitment to give. We also discussed how giving is what we do, generous is who we are. While focusing on 2 Corinthians 8:10-12 we saw 3 attributes of generous people; give willingly, proportionately, and sacrificially. If we want to be generous people we need to plan and practice generosity in every aspect of our lives.
