Listen "283 | Character Begets Success "
Episode Synopsis
Merry Christmas, and welcome back to another episode of Better Than I Found It. As as the Baylor Golf Team and the McGraw family take time to celebrate the holidays, Coach McGraw uses the moment to highlight the importance of recruiting and coaching players who show great character. In this episodes Coach McGraw shares stories that demonstrate how his prioritization of recruiting players with high character, not just talent, led to the success of both the team and the individual. These stories range from his early coaching days at Edmond High School to his most recent All-American, and noted 2024 points leader on the Korn-Ferry Tour, Johnny Keefer. Character has always been a focal point of McGraw's coaching philosophy, and I hope you can understand why after listening to this podcast. Subscribe to the podcast for future episodes.
