What's up, Squad!!
In this episode, we are talking about being Saved by Choice... And this is Christina's story!
Christina Price was born and raised in Brooklyn and grew up in a Hindu household.
She accepted Jesus as a teenager after being introduced to Christianity by her mother, who became saved herself just a few years before passing away from cancer.
After her mother's demise, she realized that her faith and foundation in Christ was not as strong as she had believed!
When a traumatic event like the death of a loved one happens to us, we normally tend to become angry and blame God and that's what Christina did and she distanced herself from God.
In addition to this, she got a divorce and this made her feel like she had lost her identity as a mother and a wife!
This was slowly drowning her for she battled everything alone because...
Often, as women, we tend to hide whatever we are going through from everyone and to those we LET IN... we talk to them about what we ONLY want them to know!
In her mid 30's, she came to know Christ once again and immediately started healing from her trauma (death and divorce), depression and anxiety.
Immediately, new doors and opportunities started opening up for her!
She was on a journey to healing and learning more about God and His love.
Christina believes sharing her experiences will encourage readers to stretch past the superficial trappings of life and embrace the sovereignty of God’s purpose in their lives.
