Welcome back to part two of Buried Treasure and I'm your host, Casey Alexis!
Before we get into it...
In part one, we focused on the internal factors on unearthing our treasures but in this episode, we'll go deeper and talk about the external factors (the world around us)
To start off...
Every believer is given a responsibility by God to go out and spread the gospel.
You can do this based on your talents/gifts/abilities given to you by God!
You are the living and breathing vessel of the gospel and the word is made flesh in you!
Just like Christ, the word was made flesh in Him!
In addition to that...
You are encouraged to go out and preach the gospel, but the most important thing is to show God through your Actions.
Are you a doer of God's word?
As firm believers, God is looking for us to be lighthouses!
Glowing to the world in the midst of all the darkness, and guiding the people back to Christ!
Matthew 2:1-12...
The three kings followed the star (the light guided them) at night to Bethlehem to go see baby Jesus!
Matthew 25:1-13; The Parable of the 5 Virgins
In the NIGHT (Darkness), the trumpets were blown to announce the arrival of the groom. The wise virgins had their lamps (LIGHT) and they got to enter the banquet because THEY WERE PREPARED!
Finally...
Learn to unearth your treasures because... How can you walk fully in your God-given mission while still burying your treasure?
