In this episode, I speak to Laura, a fellow RVN and Sarah Heath fan-girl!
From Laura - "I am a three year qualified veterinary nurse, my love of dogs started at a very young age with my first family dog Tilly, an English cocker spaniel. That one dog soon grew to FOUR family dogs. One of which my mum let me choose to be “mine” and we were inseparable. I was her junior handler during puppy training classes. Her name was Ellie and also an English Cocker Spaniel. I now have two English Cocker Spaniels of my own called Willow and Gatsby. A bit of a theme here?
I began growing a huge interest in animal behaviour, but more specifically, canine behaviour. I underwent an animal behaviour certificate which I recently passed. I am starting a top up degree in September to work towards becoming a clinical animal behaviourist and am currently studying the Victoria Stilwell Academy Dog Training Course. So as you can see, I have a never ending passion for behaviour and educating people around me to make canine lives as happy and confident as possible."
