In today's episode Chris brings us the celebrated remake of an iconic JRPG, Final Fantasy VII Remake. Released in 2020, developed and published by Square Enix, this turn based/action RPG is a reimagining of the 1997 classic that brought JRPGs to the West in a big way on the original PlayStation. While Final Fantasy VII on it's own would make for a great episode, we wanted to focus on it's new music, deeply embellished arrangements from the past, or wildly reinterpreted and mixed tracks supported by modern instrumentation throughout.
