In the fourth week of our series on women of the Bible we explore two Hebrew midwives named Shiphrah and Puah. In there role as midwives they are asked to do something unthinkable by the King of Egypt, and their decision teaches us what it means to stand with those who are oppressed. It shows us that we do not sacrifice our nature of morality to be a part of society.
