With the nationals all combining over the last few years and pulling out of the PNW we are left without OCR. Not including Terrain Race or their other companies we have less than a dozen OCRs in the Seattle Portland area of which 3 are national brands. Spartan has dropped Portland, Tough Mudder failed to deliver Portland last year and backed out of Portland going forward, Rugged Maniac stopped doing Seattle before covid and doesn't appear to be coming back. So we have one Trifecta weekend in Monroe Wa, one Tough Mudder event in Black Diamond WA, and one Rugged Maniac in Portland. So, it's up to us all to support all the local OCRs and event companies like Core Events to help grow a local community and not rely on the nationals that all appear to be abandoning the PNW.
