Matt LaMattina, the head brewer at Slow Pour Brewing in downtown Lawrenceville, GA, is here to talk all about the ingredients and process that went into making our imperial stout called The Roast of Hazelnut.
We also talk to Matt about how he got into brewing as a ceer, how things have changed at Slow Pour since it opened up a few years ago, plus how stressful it can be to manage a brewery when a natural disaster strikes, and more.
The Roast of Hazelnut (think Comedy Central Roast of...) is an imperial stout brewed with hazelnuts, vanilla, and cacao nibs. It will be a taproom-only release beginning on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020.
