Romell Parks has been a spiritul leader since 2002, and his church has been LGBTQ+affirming since 2009. He is an overseer in the international fellowship of Church of the everlasting Kingdom. He holds a Master of Divinity degree and currently in a Doctor of Theology program. He has written 3 books addressing the controversial issue of Christianity and homosexuality and has taught affirming theology at conferences and seminars around the country. He is open to conversation, respectful debate, and other ways of engaging fellow Christians and challenging their long-held traditions that have so often led to marginalization of too many. Romell believes in the power of people using their privilege to work to dismantle the very systems that gave them that privilege, including men working to dismantle patriarchy, straight people working to dismantle homophobia, white people to dismantle racism, and cisgender people to dismantle transphobia.
