Photo Start is a non profit team of photographers, artists and teachers providing opportunities for impoverished youth who might otherwise get left behind. At Photo Start they believe that talent is universal, opportunity is not and they are on a mission to change that.  The Photo Start Program offers problem based, social emotional learning that leverages digital media arts, starting with photography.Today we have with us Photo Start’s Director of Development and Partnerships Abby Lehman as well as Jeri Murchura, Photo Start’s Kenya Program Coordinator.  Abby and Jeri are here to give us a more in depth look at the powerful work this organization is doing to make a difference in the lives of children in distressed areas.
