Listen "Staying Strong When You Feel Physically Weak - Ep8"
Episode Synopsis
Listen in for today’s answer from Instagram follower…@yourfriendanika “ What infusions do you get and what are they for?”
I talked about the wheelchair I used in a previous episode and some of y’all asked me about it. Actually, it was gifted to me, but I know they bought it on Amazon, so here’s the link to it - https://amzn.to/3ovPwhh
Whatever you can do to keep your mind strong will help you through difficult days and seasons. Listen for some really practical ways to do that, and learn some of the Bible verses that I use that I find are super-helpful!
“The mind is truly such a powerful thing, and if you're like me, there are days that the only thing I can do is stay in my own head. So it's very important that that space in my head is a safe one to go to.” ~ Sarah
How can you protect your mental health when you’re struggling with your body?
Keep a gratitude journal and write literally anything down that you are grateful for
Know the mind is like a muscle and there are going to be days you feel mentally stronger than others and that’s ok
Be mindful of what you put into your mind, like your thoughts, movies, songs, books, or TV shows
Listen to worship music watch your favorite comfort tv show, repeat positive affirmations or bible verses
Be kind to your mind
Make sure you’re processing your emotions (I talk about that in Episode 2 and Episode 3)
Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it! Counselors can really help you strengthen your mind and switch your thinking!
** If you have a burning question you want me to answer in a future episode, feel free to dm me on my Instagram @be_potsitive!
