Listen "Sorare NBA x Sorare MLB Card Drop, which Sorare Sport will be Biggest in the Future"
Episode Synopsis
Another week another podcasting platform. Shoutout to John Nellis for sharing his setup with us as we try to improve our recording quality and deliver the best content possible to our listeners. We inked a 1 year deal with Zoom for our official podcasting platform. Andrew makes a ridiculous bet about the future of Zoom's stock price as we see whether it will be above $100 by Episode 50, which is nearly 1 year away! Before we look to future milestones, it is important to celebrate the ones already achieved; the team was ecstatic that we made it to 10 episodes.
A lot has changed since Episode 1, please go listen if you are newer or just found us on your podcast feed. Sorare has launched a brand new sport through Sorare NBA and much to our earlier statements, Andrew, Jacob, and Josh have been buying cards and setting lineups after promising to wait and see for a bit (those are always famous last words).
As the MLB Season winds down in a spectacular fashion with the World Series clash between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies, the boys share their hot takes on what makes a game exciting to watch. After a barrage of home runs one night, both teams were scoreless through the next game until a late game breakthrough by the Astros.
We will still be a baseball-first podcast but we want to share our thoughts on other Sorare Sports as we believe it is important for Baseball Managers to be aware of what is happening elsewhere. It seems like Sorare is rewarding managers who play multiple sports as we saw them gift us all 4 common cards this week to strengthen our Sorare NBA gallery just for participating in Sorare MLB. We expect a similar participation bonus when Sorare MLB launches again next year so we think its important to at least give the others a go.
Episode 10 was full of many tangents, hot takes, and debates which we hope will keep you engaged and leave you entertained. As always you can find us on Twitter @BatPracticePod
