He is an Associate Scout with the Atlanta Braves and Scouting Supervisor for the Southern Illinois Miners of the independent professional Frontier League. He is a graduate of Major League Baseball Scout School and is MLB Scouting Bureau certified. He has coached at the collegiately at California State University Chico (NCAA D2), New Mexico Highlands University (NCAA D2) and Harris-Stowe State University (NAIA).
