Gary Linfoot was on his 21st combat deployment when his helicopter experienced mechanical failures, and crashed. Gary suffered a spinal injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Together, Gary and his wife Mari worked to adjust to their own new normal. Along the way they have been supported by incredible people and organizations like the Gary Sinise Foundation, which gifted them with a customized home, and the Infinite Hero Foundation, which gifted Gary with an iBot powered wheelchair.The Linfoots are now paying it forward with their own organization, The American Mobility Project.
