Send us a textOn this weeks episode Kelly welcomes Megan to the Podcast.Megan is from Surrey, England and sadly lost her baby girl, Clara, 2024 at 17 weeks pregnant due to an incompetent cervix and infection.Megan has a very unique story and wanted to come on to raise awareness and connect with anyone that has experienced the same.During Megan's pregnancy she experienced a lot of uncertainty and trauma. After a lot of investigation around Clara's loss, the medical professionals found something extremely rare. Months later Megan was informed not only was her bacteria still present but it had colonised and was resistant to antibiotics. The bacteria found was, E-coli. As you can imagine Megan was extremely shock and there was no, and still is no information, on how this has happened.
