Brandon Mosely our host of the B. Real podcast, will take a look at the history of the 4th of July and why African Americans as a collective started to embrace Juneteenth. This episode will take a hard look at the Declaration of Independence and its famous author, Thomas Jefferson. We will take a deep dive into his ideas of liberty and his personal life. This episode is an attempt to inform the listeners of the history of our founding document, and what African American leaders thought of it and the 4th. So grab some BBQ and some tea because we are about to watch some fireworks.
