Peter preaches the first sermon on Jesus after His Resurrection.  We can learn so much from what he says on this Day of Pentecost.  Peter makes it clear from Scripture in the Old Testament that Jesus is the name to be called upon to be saved for He is the Lord. Peter also leaves no doubt from Scripture that He is the Messiah risen from the dead.  Thus, we are challenged to restore Jesus Christ as the central focus of the Church today.  Our identity and destiny lay in Jesus Christ alone.  May our faith in Jesus inspire us to a love that will change the world.
