Jesus commands the apostles to wait in Jerusalem to receive the promise of the Father.  In this podcast we will define the promise of the Father, which is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. How many believers, if asked, what is the promise of the Father could answer correctly? Before the apostles were allowed to go into the world to proclaim the salvation of Jesus Christ, they were told to wait in Jerusalem until they received the promise of the Father.  Are we teaching and telling our people to do the same? If it was essential for Jesus to be filled with the Holy Spirit, how much more do we need the baptism of the Spirit?
