The early leaders such as Peter and John inspired these new believers to greatness in Christ.  They believed they could do the same miracles and witnessing as these great men of God were doing.  They believed they could live supernatural lives in love with Jesus and live like Jesus lived. Our lives should be an inspiration to others in how to follow Jesus and do greater works than He did.  Jesus should be our role model.  The apostles should be our examples of how to live.  Yet, most of our role models can be worldly celebs, who have fame and fortune. Pray daily to die to self and to be filled with the Holy Spirit.  To go and love as Jesus loved and to be about our Father's business.  God loves to take ordinary men and women and od great things through us.
