Chevrolet, often called Chevy, is an American automobile brand and a division of General Motors (GM). It's known for its wide range of vehicles, from subcompact cars to medium-duty trucks. The name "Chevrolet" is also a French surname, originally referring to a place where goats were raised. The brand was co-founded by Louis Chevrolet, a Swiss-American race car driver, and William C.
