Today’s Jargon is Generalization! Generalization happens when a person is able to successfully apply what they have learned in situations and circumstances where they have not had previous instruction. Generalization is one of the hallmarks of a quality ABA program. It is essential that any lesson that is taught have a clear plan for how it will be generalized before the first lesson is even attempted.
