She is experienced in a wide range of specialties, including burns, home care, labor and delivery, women’s health, and surgery.  The Covid crisis was calling for nurses to educate, advocate, and prepare individuals to fight for themselves. She partnered with other nurses to start NursEd.April was devastated by the lack of safety and training she experienced firsthand while working in the operating room. This sparked her next business venture in 2017: The Surgery Studio. Her hope is to address a major gap in healthcare-related training and education for providers.
