it finally hit me how ridiculous it was for zeitgeist to be a word back when this all started when obama was elected.  like, for instance, i wasnt even feeling like i should study german as a foreign language in school because i just thought it would be insensitive or probably not the best fit , for me. so i decided to study a couple of semesters of spanish. so it is wierd for me to see the jeffries kind of thing show up and they are more german than the germans  .  i am just saying that even in my generation people were not on that wavelength, to study german and speak german , unless the person was caucasian basically.  so it is interesting to see that obama was a german enthusiast.  the thing is, i didnt understand until this year that the interest in german things like that was there.
