i remember when i was little, i lived somewhere where i remember there were some kids who were a bit older than me that found me and approached me about joining a gang.  i am not sure how they were connected or found me. but anyway, they found me and asked me if i wanted to join their gang. they said in order to join i had to go through an "initiation" which involved getting beat up. i remember they told me it was like they would beat people up but then they were saying at the end everyone is friends and that is how you join the gang. i do not remember how i got rid of them but they didnt come back. i dont know how they found me in the first place. and i dont remember how long i talked to them, dont remember how i got out of whatever they were talking about and didnt just get beat up. they didnt show up again. not sure why.  there was only hispanic family around me that i knew about. that gang probably found me because of that family. not sure.  part of joining the gang was beating people up.  they were hispanic kids that asked me.
