Episode Synopsis

Hello and welcome to this podcast. So what is this podcast about, you ask? Well, I don’t know.

Well If I don’t know then why am I making a podcast? Good Question.
First of all, to give you a background of myself, I’m a college student, 1st year or freshman year, taking Mechanical engineering degree.

If you’re listening to this audio in the year 2020, You do know what’s going on right now. Yup, the pandemic of COVID. Most of the countries are in a lockdown. Though some of the countries such as Japan and Korea are recovering at a fast pace, My country India, which was one of the lowest affected nations at the beginning of the year, is sadly now the third most affected country as of July. Right after the US and Brazil.

And the cases are just rising in an insane manner. But coming to my point. Since I’m in lockdown, I just wanted to explore all the places in the virtual world as I won’t get this precious time after the lockdown. Thought Idk when that is.

So the things that I’m doing right now are making videos and uploading them to youtube. (spoiler alert) Nobody watches those
I’m learning to play chess. I also thought to learn to touch type. For those who don't know what touch type is, It’s typing without looking at your keyboard. Letting your muscles learn where the keys are. At the beginning, I thought it was impossible to achieve that but after a week and a half of learning, I seem to get a hold of it. Though my speed hasn’t increased much.

The next thing I did was a stream on twitch. Again no one watches them.
I tried to stream a game called valiant but the problem was my laptop couldn’t handle the load that the streams were choppy.
So I stream chess games and me learning to type. And there are chess grandmasters streaming at that time. Even I myself wouldn’t watch my youtube videos or my streams. Why would they?

Even this podcast is in the same boat. There are celebrities and YouTubers and other quote professions with those big as mic and 5 computers and 4 editors behind them to make a video/podcast. And me here trying to record with this 250 rupee (3 US dollars or 12 KSA riyal) earphone.
And that is one of the reasons why I’m making a podcast
