Jeanien Cooper is an Inuit teacher and knowledge holder in North West River, Labrador. Cooper describes growing up on the land and the changes in the climate in the area. Cooper hopes young people today will continue the Inuit traditions and create a better future for generations to come. Cooper spoke to the Lake Melville School Grade 5 & Grade 6 Classes. Labrador Legacy is a podcast created by the Grade 5 & Grade 6 classes, in partnership with Lake Melville School. The program was funded by the provincial ArtsSmarts Program.
