Feb. 8, 2025 ~ Pastor Lorenzo Sewell grew up in Detroit, Michigan and while in high school, his father went to prison and his younger brother was killed. He then became a drug dealer and ultimately a gang leader. A “Damascus Road” encounter with God transformed his life and he then earned a B.A. in general bible studies from Destiny University. Since 2019, he’s been the lead pastor of Evangel Ministries/180 Church of Detroit. On Jan.20, 2025, he gave the benediction after President Donald Trump’s inaugural address.
