Feb. 24, 2024 ~ John Moolenaar grew up in Midland, Michigan, earning a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Hope College and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. From 1983 to 1985, he was a chemist for Dow Chemical Company. From 1997 to 2001, he was a charter school administrator. Moolenaar then served 12 years in the Michigan Legislature from 2003 to 2014.
