Thomas Winterton, superintendent of Skinwalker Ranch, manages facilities, equipment, and maintenance of the property. He assists in the investigations and has unique insight based on firsthand experience with the unsettling paranormal activity that occurs there. Prior to the start of the series, Winterton developed a serious head injury while on the ranch that could have killed him, the cause of which is still unknown and of vital importance in the context of the investigation.
