The challenge with global warming in the long haul is not the U.S. India and China with the billions seeking a higher standard of living and all the energy demands that entails is where the real challenge lies. And guess what, if 2030 and 1.5 C is a real deadline, then we aren't going to make it. Sorry. I don't think of this as pessimistic, just realistic. If I am right, what is Plan B?
