One minute you’re being told off, the next your being served fruit. Being served fruit by your Indian parents is their equivalent of them apologising, of course without taking any accountability. On today’s episode I talk about hot and cold parents. No matter how much time passes their old negative habits/ opinions creep up here and there leaving you feeling confused and disappointed. Since I feel like not enough people speak about this topic, it’s important to remember our parents are people, and people say awful things. It just hurts more when it’s a parent.I go on to explain how I had a disagreement my dad and how I navigated through it, the importance of patience and boundaries and lastly an amazing sound bath experience that shifted my entire perspective on life. Enjoy!  Hosted on Acast.
