In Part 1 of Unravelling (Unravelling Culture) we are analysing not only what we think in our culture, but why we think what we think. In our culture we all want to be free – but we often only think about what we want to be free from, rather than what we want to be free for. But without a vision of what freedom is for, we end up living for a freedom that is purely negative – an unreal freedom. Pursuing this unreality leaves us empty and isolated. In this video we briefly discuss a more realistic understanding of freedom where freedom matters primarily because we have a vision of what we want to be free for.
